Dreaming/Story: This is the first in the Ode To Country series. I wanted to explore the colors, shapes and techniques of the country I was born in (Australia) which will always have my heart and the country I now call home (USA.)

In this painting the people have gathered together to visit and have ceremony by the river. They are happy, they are singing, dancing, telling stories and enjoying family. They are gathered in Bush Banana country. Bush Banana is gathered and cooked in the coals from the campfire. This is a good and happy dreaming.

The red, white and blue represents the colors from both the Australian and American flags.
