Witchety Grub Dreaming

The Witchety Grub is a very nutritious and important bush food. This painting shows Witchety Grubs under the ground in their nests. 

After the ladies gather the grubs with their digging sticks they can be eaten raw or cooked in the coals from the campfire. 

The colors are reminiscent of the outback deserts.
